Hey @ all,
here u can find the Guides from Steam which ADHD Studios wrote.
So you've fast forwarded through the in-game tutorial without reading any descriptions or maybe you were just too baked... Regardless, if you've no clue what to do next, this guide will get you up to speed. It covers the basic gameplay mechanics and controls.
So the object of the game is to find parking, but first, you'll need a car, in order to purchase one you'll need some cash and since you ain't got none, you'll need to start growing and selling weed. Luckily you own a Weed Shop, so let's start there.
- CASH MONEY
Earned by selling weed, used for purchasing everything from seeds to shop upgrades and pimp s**t.
- SAFE STORAGE
The amount of cash that can be safely stored in case of a robbery.
Earned by growing Marijuana, can be sold to customers or used for rolling joints and getting high!
- WEED STORAGE
The amount of weed that can be stored in your Weed Shop.
Earned by harvesting and selling weed, busting shoplifters and completing missions.
Level up by reaching the required XP points. Leveling up unlocks new items, customers, missions and other gameplay elements.
- BUILD MODE
A green inventory icon means that the build mode is active and you can remove or move items around your shop. However, you won't be able to grow weed or interact with customers while in build mode.
Different inventory items will be shown based on the player's location and current context.
- SHOP INDICATOR
Shows the number of customers currently waiting in your shop.
- GROW INDICATOR
Shows the number of plants that require your attention in the grow room.
Use the WASD Keys (or whatever you have them mapped to) to move and the mouse to control the camera.
To interact with NPCs and inanimate objects, approach them till the crosshair (it's actually a circle) turns green and click the Left Mouse Button. That will open an action menu based on context. Use the mouse pointer to select the desired action or click the Right Mouse Button to cancel the interaction.
BUILD & SMOKE MODES
Press the Inventory Key (Tab by default) to toggle Build Mode when inside the shop or toggle Smoke Mode when outdoors.
When in Build Mode use the Rotate Keys (Q & E by default) or the Scroll Wheel to rotate your items.
Press and hold the Attack Key (Space by default) to power up your attack. Once ready, release the Attack Key to bash someone's brains in.
Use the Shortcut Keys to fast travel to the Growroom(1 by default), Shop(3 by default) or to open the main menu (2 by default).
The Main Menu consists of the following sections:
- LANDING PAGE
Remap your controls or click the banners to visit Weed Shop's social media pages.
Buy anything weed related, upgrade your shop and hire staff here.
Check the requirements and status of active missions as well as the list of completed ones.
See the history of recent events that happened in your Weed Shop.
Change your quality, sound and other settings here.
- SAVE & LOAD
Save and Load your game progress or start it all over from scratch.
Close the main menu and resume the game.
Not making any money growing weed? Well it's because you're doing it wrong!
Growing marijuana in Weed Shop 2 is a pretty straightforward process: all you need is a light setup, a pot and a seed to get started!
You'll be able to grow various Indica, Sativa and Hybrid strains, however, they will all end up in the same weed pile upon harvest. In other words, you'll be selling just "weed" and not the individual strains. So what's the point of having multiple strains you ask? Besides bragging rights, each strain has its own specific properties. Some strains grow slowly but produce higher yields, some can be grown in an instant but provide smaller gains and some can be god damn expensive. Higher level strains will also require better pots in order to grow.
A pot is where you plant your Cannabis seeds, duh! Each pot can grow one plant at a time and has three properties:
- Pot Level - The level of the highest strain that can be grown in this pot. All the pots are backward compatible so you can grow lower level strains in higher level pots but not the other way around.
- Max Uses- Your pots will fall apart once they reach the breaking point. While you can still grow weed in a broken pot, the pot will not hold water well and your plant's yield will be suboptimal.
- Water Required - Your pots can hold a minute's worth (the capacity can be expanded with the use of hydro equipment though) of water. This property defines how many clicks it takes to fill the pot up to its max water capacity.
The grow setup is where you place your pots. Each setup can hold a certain number of pots and comes with its own grow lights. Grow setups with a more advanced lighting system will increase your plants' yields by the percent shown in their store listings.
Use grow supplies to increase your grow room's efficiency, reduce grow times and cure infected plants.
- Nutrients - Using nutrients will magically knock minutes if not hours off your grow times.
- Hydro Equipment - Provides a steady water supply to your plants so you don't have to water them every minute.
- Killa Spray - Kills all the bacteria and protects your plant from mold and mite infestations.
- F-Mites - Got Mites? Use the spray to kill the infestation and save your harvest.
- Mold B Gon - Takes care of your mold problem and restores your weed harvest.
A mite or mold outbreak will completely destroy your harvest, therefore, it's always wise to spray your plants down with Killa Spray preemptively. If you don't, there's a 10-20% chance that your plant will get infected at some point.
- Mites - Show up randomly, usually just before your harvest is ready, as if they're trying to p!ss you off on purpose.
- Mold - Mold starts forming if you don't harvest your mature plants once they're ready.
Learn the essential stoner skills which will help you get better prices, manage your staff and protect your shop.
Getting by in the weed biz is all about respect and blunts!
You customers will only visit your store if they respect it and need some weed. To gain their respect, give out free joints and pimp out your shop. Serving you customers in a timely manner will increase their satisfaction level, while rejecting them will result in lost respect and satisfaction. Customers with higher satisfaction will wait in line longer and repeat customers will purchase more weed. If a customer's satisfaction is low, he or she might take the weed and leave without paying so keep customer satisfaction your #1 priority.
Your staff can handle any job you don't want to do yourself: farming, promoting, sales and security. How well they perform will depend on their efficiency and "high level". If a member of your staff is working too slowly, just hook him or her up with a blunt! Your workers also have different weed tolerance levels so some of them will need a smoke more often than others.
The junkie thieves will try to sneak into your store and steal your weed stash. They'll stay in your store till they're spooked by you or your security personel or until they have more weed than they can carry. If you or your security personel manage to knock a thief out, you'll get all of the stolen weed back.
Thugs will visit your store to jack all your cash that's not in the safe. If you safe's capacity is larger than your cash reserves then you've got nothing to worry about. However, if a thug keeps jacking your cash right in front of you, you have to choices: knock him our or get a badass security guard to do it for you. Thugs are pretty hardcore, so knocking one out will require you to get hella stoned first (an upgraded bat alone won't do the trick) and bash him at full power. If you fail and the thug knocks you out instead, that means your weren't stoned enough or your bat was crap.
The Juggalos employ a snatch and bounce technique to steal your weed paraphernalia from your shelves. They move fast and can outrun most security personel. If you manage to knock a Juggalo out, he'll end up dropping the stolen merchandise which can be picked up and added back to your inventory.
The Spice dealers hang out around your shop selling their fake weed to your customers. Customers who purchase spice from the dealers will not enter your shop and also loose respect for your business. If your business is dead and you notice a bunch of people carying black Spice bags, locate the spice dealer and bash his brains in.
Can you seriously not figure out how to get high on your own?
If you couldn't figure this out on your own, you're probably playing the wrong game, but since you're here already, here's how you get stoned!
To roll your own joints and blunts you'll need three things: a rolling table, rolling papers and some weed. The bigger or more elaborate the joint, the more weed you'll need and the longer it will take to roll. Higher quality rolling tables come with more better grinders though, which help speed up the rolling process.
To light one up, just walk outside and press the inventory key (TAB by default). Select the joint or blunt from your smokes inventory and you're good to go.
To smoke inside the shop, you'll need to get a Smoke Spot and a bong. Clicking the table with no bong present will allow you to select the bong. You can swap out bongs between smoke sessions by clicking the active bong. Once again, the bigger the bong, the more weed it'll need and the longer you can toke. Once the bong is packed, smash the Space key repeatedly to inhale.
Getting high will make you stronger and more attractive! Not really, but while high, you'll be able to knock thugs out and get twice as much XP for everything you do! Also, if you start bugging out, you'll get to complete trippy tasks and earn dope rewards.
Though this sounds counterintuitive, if your workers are dicking around, hook them up with some joints to increase their productivity and performance.
Giving out joints to people on the beach will increase your shop's reputation and might convince them to visit your shop or buy another joint off you on the spot. If you've got a customer waiting but you're out of weed, giving him or her a joint will make them wait in line a little longer.
Do you want to drive exotic cars, wear 500k chains and bang strippers? If so, then our "So you wanna be rich, ♥♥♥♥♥?" seminar is for you!
Making money is super easy unless you a dumbass!
In order to sell anything, you'll need some customers. To get a new customer you'll have to hit the beach and hand out some free joints. Handing out joints will increase your shop's reputation and increase the chances of the stoner visiting your shop.
When handing out free joints, some stoners might really like what you're selling and offer to buy more joints off you. The more respect people have for you and your shop the more they'll be willing to pay for your joints.
Once you get some customers in the shop, make sure to serve them as soon as possible. Serving customers in a timely manner will increase their satisfaction level and, with time, will result in larger sales and better prices.
To sell bongs, you'll have to first outfit you store with display tables or shelves and place the paraphernalia on them. Your customers will check out the merchandise once they got their weed fix, and if they like what they see, they'll purchase it. Once again, the more respect they have for your shop, the more they'll pay for your merch.
Running out of storage capacity, don't know what to do with that poster or how to close the shop? Get in on this guide action!
You can customize, upgrade and pimp out your shop to your liking! Here's how:
Your weed has to be stored in airtight weed jars so it stays dry and mold free. The more weed you grow the more jars you'll need and if you don't have enough, you won't be able to harvest your plants. Once you start growing hydro weed, clicking on weed jars will bring up your hydro strain inventory.
Increasing your safe capacity is crucial if you want to keep the money your make. Once thugs show up, they'll jack all the cash that can't fit in the safe.
Expanding your front shop will increase the maximum customer capacity as well as provide the much needed space for your merchandise displays.
Your grow room can support a finite number of regular and hydro setups. Expanding it will allow you to increase your weed production substantially.
You can place furniture, lights, posters and other decorational items anywhere in your front shop or grow room. Some items are interactive or serve a specific purpose while others increase your customers' satisfaction.
Interactive items such as TVs, lights, rolling tables and signs can be interacted with by clicking them. To cancel the interaction and enable movement controls just click the right mouse key.
Custom wallpapers, ceilings and floors will give your shop a unique look and also increase the respect you get from fellow stoners. You can switch between the wallpapers you own by clicking the "Use" button on the item's store listing page.
